Elizabeth D. Gaukroger is of counsel at BFW. Her practice focuses on business litigation. Ms. Gaukroger has extensive experience litigating contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, claims involving breach of fiduciary duty and fraud, and business torts. She has also represented clients in intellectual property litigation involving copyright infringement, covenants not to compete, unfair competition, and related matters. During her career, Ms. Gaukroger has successfully represented high profile clients involving delicate matters as well as small business owners whose exposure threatened their economic existence.
Ms. Gaukroger attended the George Washington University Law School after graduating from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Her prior legal experience includes clerkships with the Honorable William P. Dimitrouleas and the Honorable Robin L. Rosenberg in the Southern District of Florida. Before joining BFW, Ms. Gaukroger spent several years working on products liability matters at a large, international law firm in Seattle, Washington. She has also worked at both boutique litigation practices and a premier Florida law firm in South Florida, representing plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes in state and federal courts.
