Phil Merenda is an associate attorney at BFW. Phil spent a number of years at the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ side class action law firm, representing clients in large securities, consumer protection, and products liability class actions throughout the country and has experience litigating complex cases in both state and federal court.
Phil graduated Magna Cum Laude, with order of the coif distinction, from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, Phil served as a research assistant on the Georgetown University Law Center’s Annual Review of Criminal Procedure, and as a judicial intern at the Supreme Court of the State of New York. Phil also assisted indigent clients in eviction proceedings through his participation in the DC Law Students in Court clinical program.
Phil is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, and the District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Eastern District of Michigan.
